🎶 From discovering reggae music in your bedroom in Sudan to being on stage in Europe as the singer of a Bob Marley tribute band. It almost sounds like a boy's book, but it's exactly how it went for Mo Ali.

🎤 At the age of 10, the singer first heard Bob Marley's music and stood in his room singing along with the music. Not much later he taught himself to play guitar, drums, keyboard and bass guitar and developed into an increasingly better singer. 

A career followed in his home country Sudan with the bands Sudan Roots and Mohamed Ali and the Nile Riddim until the singer was asked to become the frontman of the Dutch Bob Marley tribute band Rootsriders. Apart from those performances, the musician is working hard on his solo career, his first EP 'Alhamdo Lilah' was released in 2020.

 In Patronaat we can enjoy the Sudanese singer for the first time on Sunday 12 March.
