Mo Ali, a Sudanese reggae artist, has undeniably left an indelible mark on the global reggae scene. As the leading mainstream Sudanese reggae artist and the sole Sudanese artist to tour internationally, Mo Ali has been instrumental in revitalizing reggae music in Sudan, the Middle East, and Europe.
In 2010, Mo Ali founded his first reggae band, "Sudan Roots," marking the inception of his musical journey. After parting ways with the band, he went on to establish a new group, "Mohamed Ali and the Nile Riddim," demonstrating his unwavering commitment to his craft.
The artist's creative journey has been punctuated by the release of several singles and his inaugural EP album, "Alhamdo Lilah," in 2020. Notably, his 2022 release, "My Love," garnered widespread acclaim, resonating with audiences in Brazil, Indonesia, and the USA. This hit was written and produced by DMF Records, underscoring Mo Ali's entrepreneurial spirit and musical acumen.
Currently, Mo Ali is collaborating with esteemed musicians on upcoming releases, including the acclaimed Grammy-winning/nominated artist Aston Barrett Jr., leader of "The Wailers."
